After a 39 yard kick-off return and 2 flags Colton Martin connects with Chaz Sorensen for a 1st and 10 at the comets 16 yard line. On 2nd down Mitch Harger runs it in for a touchdown! 7-0 PRIATES!
On fourth down the comets are punting. And on a fourth and 2 for the Pirates they go for it and get the first down. Then on 4th and 3 the pirates wait for the quarter to end and decide to go for it again. The Pirates succeed and have a 1st and 10 on the comets 30 yard line. On 3rd down Colton Martin decides to run the ball and its 4th and 6 on the 12 yard line. The pirates opt for the safe route and kick a field goal for another 3 points. 10-0 PIRATES
With 9:39 to go in the 2nd half the pirates punt and the comets will have a 1st and 10 on there own 30 yard line. On 4th and 2 the comets punt and the pirates will start there drive on there own 25 yard line.
On a 15 yard run by Mitch Harger the pirates have a 1st and 10. Holding on the pirates brings up a 1st and 20. A nice run by Colton Shadden brings Alburnett to a 1st and 10 on the comets 45 yard line. 4th and 7 for the Pirates and they will punt and a marvelous punt by Chaz has the comets on the 5 yard line.
After 4 downs the comets faked the punt and the pirates get the ball on the comets 17 yard line, with 2 minutes left in the half. On second down the ball was fumbled but the pirates recover and have a 1st and goal. With 2 holding calls on the pirates its 1st and 31 for Alburnett. FINALLY the comets get a flag against them and its 4th and 5 for the pirates. They kick a field goal to make the score 13-0 ALBURNETT!

Comets will have a 1st and 10 at there own 35 yard line. On 3rd down the quarterback slips and there punting on 4th down.

ReplyDeleteAfter many technical difficulties and a 2 hour ride home. I'm pleased to inform you that the Alburnett Pirates won 26-0.
